Responsibility After Delivery: Upon delivery of a reptile purchased from Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles LLC (DBA Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles) and affiliates, the customer assumes full responsibility for the well-being, care, and safety of the reptile. Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles and affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, or death of the reptile that may occur after the package is marked as "Delivered" by the shipping carrier (e.g., UPS). It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the reptile's welfare and follow appropriate care practices.
2. Assumed Health and Vitality: All reptiles offered for sale by Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles and affiliates are assumed to be in good health and alive when they are shipped. We take great care to ensure the health and well-being of the reptiles we sell, conducting thorough health assessments and following established breeding and care standards.
3. Carrier Responsibility: Shipping of reptiles is carried out using reputable and established shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, Etc. Any issues related to the handling, delays, or condition of the shipment should be directed to the shipping carrier. Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles and affiliates will assist customers in navigating the shipping carrier's policies and procedures.
4. Inspection Upon Delivery: Customers are strongly advised to inspect the reptile and its packaging immediately upon delivery. In the event of any concerns or issues, customers should document the condition and take clear photographs as evidence.
5. Reporting Issues: Any issues related to the reptile's health, condition, or well-being upon delivery should be reported to Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles and affiliates within 24 hours of the package being marked as "Delivered" by the shipping carrier. Timely notification allows Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles and affiliates to address any immediate concerns and provide guidance.
6. Customer Care Support: Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles and affiliates are committed to customer satisfaction and will provide guidance and support as needed. We value our customers and are here to assist with any questions or concerns within the scope of our policies and responsibilities.
7. Policy Updates: Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles and affiliates reserve the right to update and modify this shipping and liability policy as needed. Customers are encouraged to review this policy regularly to stay informed about any changes.
8. Sales Policy: All sales are final, no refunds or returns permitted unless stated otherwise directly from Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles. Should a refund be granted, buyer is subject to a 25% fee based off the purchase price and buyer relinquishes their ownership of the reptile back to Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles thereafter. Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles reserves the right to ban customers that abuse this policy.
9. Boarding & Hold Policy: If buyer requests a later delivery date, Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles will coordinate with buyer to board purchased reptile for a specified period of time, and a non-refundable fee may apply based on boarding duration. Any duration beyond two weeks is subject to this fee.
10. Customer Agreement: By purchasing a reptile from Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles LLC and affiliates, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this shipping and liability policy. This agreement includes the understanding that Red Rocks Exotic Reptiles and affiliates are not responsible for any issues or harm that may arise following the delivery of the reptile. Customers are encouraged to read and understand this policy thoroughly before making a purchase.
