We ship via UPS Next Day Air® Early to ensure that reptiles arrive safely and alive to you next day. This can be changed at the customer's discretion though, but only on a case by case basis. Please contact us if you would like to use a different mail carrier. We will deny shipping in temperatures below 30F and 90F. We will typically only deliver to a shipping hub, but please check the weather in your area prior to requesting a shipping date.
In the unfortunate event of a DOA, we require written AND photo documentation within 24 hours of stated delivery time to ensure we can handle your claim in a timely manner. We strongly advise recording yourself opening the package to mitigate any concerns! Failure to provide proof or documentation of DOA will result in denial of refund.
Absolutely not! Any orders within Colorado we will make every effort to do same day/in person delivery or meet you halfway at a designated meeting area.
We currently offer a guarantee between the time we ship the reptile and after it is marked as delivered at the address provided. We aim to ship reptiles during periods of warmer weather if possible to ensure temperature fluctuations do not negatively impact reptile health. Please check your local weather when ordering reptiles to ensure the animal will be safe while shipping in your area, and otherwise plan to be at the stated address for delivery. The general rule of thumb is to avoid shipping in sub 50 degree (F) temps and temps in excess of 90 degrees. This of course depends on species being shipped, age, etc., so please contact us with questions about shipping prior to purchase.
We are happy to accept all forms of payment. We can also utilize Venmo Business or PayPal Goods & Services to alleviate any customer concerns. We simply charge a 3% fee on said business payments to cover the fee from Venmo and PayPal as well as CO sales tax. Out of state sales are tax exempt.
-We do not accept returns or exchanges on reptile purchases at this time. Please see our store policies page for more information on this.
-We will accept returns on feeders and any other products sold as "new" as stated in their description within 24 hours of purchase with valid proof of purchase and original packaging. Feeders must be in the same state that they were sold in, ie. a 50 count of mealworms should still have ~50 worms, in the original container, etc.
-Live plant returns are permitted within three days of purchase as long as plant is still healthy.
